Public Utility and Business Litigator Julie Hopper Elected Partner with Jennings Haug Keleher McLeod’s New Mexico Office

Albuquerque, NM (Feb. 8, 2024) —Jennings Haug Keleher McLeod (JHKM) announces that Julianna (Julie) Hopper was elected partner with the firm’s New Mexico office.

Julie is a public utility and business litigator whose practice focuses on representing public utilities before administrative agencies. Her experience assisting clients before the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission involves advising on compliance filings, rate cases, acquisitions, and condemnation proceedings.

She also represents clients in various civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, collection matters, and insurance coverage issues. Additionally, Julie has experience with appellate administrative proceedings as well as through state and federal district courts, and before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Julie is a member of the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association and was recently recognized by Best Lawyers® as One to Watch in New Mexico, a list of up-and-coming lawyers. She earned her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2017 and joined JHKM the same year.
